Consignment stores
In my blog, I am gradually going to introduce the consignment stores in Folsom.
Here are the pros of buying from a consignment store.
1.
Natural resources.We are reusing the resources instead of using and buying new clothes that used up new resources imported from across the world.
2.
Quality. The qualities are much better for the money we are spending. The clothes have been carefully selected by the store owner and employees.
3.
Styles. The styles are wonderful. It took other people hours to select and buy the clothes that we are looking at now.
4.
Price. The prices are of course a lot less than buying new. Specially for barely used, almost new items we find in consignment stores.
5.
Small businesses. With buying from Consignments stores, we are helping the store owners that are mostly small business owners. Our money is spent on a much better place instead of profiting the huge corporations.
6.
Beating Consumerism. Instead of buying many items from the sales racks of huge department stores, we tend to just buy few things that we need and enjoy.
7.
De-cluttering. By only buying what we need and not spending just for the sake of buying, we accumulate less clutter at our homes.
8.
Time. The time we would spend driving to the mall and window shopping will be drastically reduced by going to local consignment stores.
